The roofline on your house is the area between the walls and the roof where the gutter is fixed and comprises of several components; the fascia is at the front and the gutter is attached to it, the soffit is underneath the fascia. Bargeboards are the fascia fitted to the gable end.
Traditional wooden fascia and soffit needs painting regularly and can rot. Roofline use Freefoam fascia, soffits and guttering which should last longer than the traditional equivalents and the white profiles have a 20 year colour fastness guarantee.
Some companies cap over the existing fascia which can cause condensation between the new and original fascia which leads to the wood rotting away. Roofline pride themselves on the quality of their maintenance free roofline installations, replacing wherever possible all wood with UPVC.
